What is Live-in Care?

Live-in Care is for those who require a higher level of support than Visiting Care can offer and is a compelling alternative to care in a care home or facility. It allows you or your loved one(s) to receive the essential assistance you or they need whilst remaining in the cherished environment you or they know best. We take a holistic approach to care, ensuring physical, emotional, and social well-being are prioritised.

One of our trained and qualified Live-in Carers will live with our Service User 24 hours a day. They will become a trusted companion, and not only will they develop a deep understanding of their unique care requirements, but they will also become familiar with their routines and preferences. This close bond fosters a strong relationship between the Carer and the Service User, ensuring consistent and tailored support.

We understand that even the most dedicated Carers need time off to rest and recharge. That’s why we have a system to provide relief cover through additional Carers when the primary Carer requires a break. Our relief Carers are carefully selected and briefed to ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted care.

How much does Live-in Care Cost?

The cost of our Live-in Care varies depending on several factors, including the individual’s specific needs and the Service User’s requirements. We will visit you or your loved one(s) at home to undertake a full, free Live-in Care assessment before finalising personal care requirements and any costs with you.

To give you an idea of the cost of our Live-in Care, please see an outline of our packages below:

Our Basic Package starts from £1,299 per week for an individual and £1,599 per week for a couple. This package can include accompanying our Service User(s) on trips out, hospital and other appointments, cleaning, food preparation and general companionship.

Our Personal Care Package starts from £1,499 per week for an individual and £1,799 per week for a couple. This can include all the elements in our Basic Package, plus our Live-in Carer will provide continence care, showering, washing, dressing and managing/giving medication.

Our Complex Care Packages can include all the elements of our Basic and Personal Care Packages. In addition, they can also include tailored care services such as PEG feeding, stoma care, a Carer being awake through the night and more.
