Personal Care Specialists Celebrates its 10th Birthday
Since February 2013, we have been delivering high-quality home care across Leeds and the Yorkshire area.
Personal Care Specialists is a family-owned home care service, and we are celebrating our 10th Birthday. We are proud to provide excellent at home care across Yorkshire. Through our support, we always maintain the independence and dignity of our Service Users in the safety, and comfort of their own homes.
Here are some of the milestones we are celebrating on our 10th birthday. Over the last 10 years, we have:
- Delivered 301,600 hours of care in service users’ own homes.
- Employed 142 team members.
- Supported 407 families.
- Delivered 5,538 hours of mandatory staff/team training.
- Provided 2,220 hours of care manager training.
- Supported 21 team members to further their care careers.
- Awarded 39 employees of the month and year since 2020.
As part of our celebrations will be supporting our communities further. We asked our Team members to nominate charities to support, and they chose Leeds Mind and the Alzheimer’s Society. Both charities will receive a £250 donation each shortly, and we also plan to support them further.

“We would like to thank our excellent team of Carers, Team Leaders and Registered Managers who have supported the delivery of our high-quality home care over the last 10 years, and of course, all the families we have supported.
Although it has been and still is a challenging time across the social care sector, we will be spending some time to celebrate our 10th birthday, including donating to two charities which are close to our hearts.”

“I just want to say a massive thank you to Karen, Team Leader, and the whole team at Personal Care Specialists for literally saving my life when I had reached rock bottom. Karen always makes time to chat with me and she has made a difference in my mental health, the sort of help that my family have been trying to get for years. My daughter has just had her first baby and she would like to thank you all for taking care of me and allowing her to enjoy her baby without constantly worrying about me.”
